SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH COUNCIL: With funds provided by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, offers full-time graduate students in literature, enrolled in doctoral programs in the United States, 9–12 months of support to conduct dissertation field research in all areas and regions of the world. Fellows are required to conduct at least three months of their research outside the United States.
