KOSCIUSZKO FOUNDATION: Tuition scholarships for graduate study in the United States, and for exchange programs to Poland are available to US citizens of Polish descent, Polish citizens who have permanent-resident status in the United States, and persons of non-Polish background who are majoring in Polish subjects. Undergraduate sophomores through MA and PhD students (but not at the dissertation level) may apply for a scholarship to spend a year at the Institute of Polish Diaspora and Ethnic Studies, Jagiellonian University in Krakow; candidates for doctoral degrees and university faculty members may apply for academic-year grants to pursue studies and research at accredited institutions of higher learning in Poland.
