A Socially Just Classroom
Due Date: 09-30-2020
Vernon Press invites proposals for A Socially Just Classroom, an edited collection on transdisciplinary approaches to the teaching of writing across the humanities through the lens of inclusion and equity in higher education. We invite chapters that focus on both triumphs and challenges in the classroom, learning objectives and best practices, theories and their in-class applications, as well as concrete examples of campus action. Please see the website for the full CFP. With this extended deadline of 30 September 2020, we especially seek proposals that address first-generation, migrant, DACA, LGBTQ, Native and Indigenous students, in addition to the topics outlined in the CFP. Please send a 200-word abstract and a brief biography to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
